Art & Design Intention
Living in a world of unprecedented technology our way of life can best be described as rapid. Uninhibited by distance or time, relationships are increasingly complicated and their exchanges abstract.
While technology has 'done well' for many people, its benevolent effects are tempered by a subtle but pervasive distortion of reality. Isolation, apathy, and self-preoccupation have obscured the interconnectedness of life.
From climate change to the increasing commodification of life, many problems have risen from the our faulty vision.
In response to these challenges, I have oriented myself as an artist and designer to make work that clarifies our vision. To broaden our perspective and thereby empower ourselves to live with greater meaning.
